If you need to wear one, then remove your contact lenses before applying the olopatadine. After that, put the contact lenses back after 10 minutes have passed.

If you forgot to use olopatadine at the designated time, then instill the missed dose as soon as you remember of it. However, if the next dose is just an hour away, then skip the missed dose and continue on the regular dosing schedule.
