Wedding Day Beauty How To
October 25th, 2019 by Candis Hall
Like a fairytale, your plans are coming together for a magical wedding day. There has been much planning and stress that has gone into the most special day of your life. Some brides arrive at their wedding day wearing the months of stress on their skin and in their eyes.
All the late nights, meetings with caterers, venue staff, florists and wedding planner can take its toll. With all that goes into the event, it is important to not lose sight of that it is your day! You are going to have this day to remember for the rest of your lives and to ensure that you look your best for all the photos and guests, we have some suggestions for your beauty regimen.
Look into Personalized Products
There are a lot of products out there for your beauty routine, and they all claim to have the miracle sauce. None of these products have been customized and made according to your skin’s unique needs. Our skin is our body’s largest organ and needs to be carefully taken care of. Getting a skin test should be the first thing. It allows you to analyze your skin’s needs and know what ingredients are really needed for your skincare products.
Facial and Back Masks
It is cute to see some of the latest masks available. They come with cute animal faces and with various designs. However, if you planning on wearing a dress that reveals plenty of your backs skin, then you need to look after it as you would your facial skin. Draw out the impurities and unclog your pores.
While your skin is still moist from washing and adding toner, apply your moisturizer to your skin. Dispense the moisturizer with a clean spoon, butter knife, or pump to avoid contamination of the product. Apply your moisturizer using the palm of your hand stroking in a downward direction. Do NOT rub by stroking up and down or around in circles. It is best to leave a tacky film of moisturizer on your skin; it will be absorbed in a few minutes.
Hair coloring strips your hair of the moisture and nutrients. Unlike your typical conditioner, a deep conditioning treatment is usually a heavier, more intense formula that works overtime to repair your hair. It reduces breakage and split ends, improving the overall health of the hair.
Stay on Top of Your Fitness
Being fit and exercising often will help in so many ways. It will help you maintain or attain a specific weight for your dress to fit perfectly. Stronger muscles also improve your posture which will come through in your confident radiance. Doing kickboxing or something like this will also give you a great avenue to destress!
Stay on Top of Your Nutrition
What goes into your body matters and each meal is a building block in your healthy eating style. Make sure to include all the food groups throughout the day. Make fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, and protein foods part of your daily meals and snacks. Also, limit added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium. A great rule of thumb is, the more colorful your plate is, the healthier it is. Green, yellow and orange vegetables have the highest nutritional value with the least calories and fats.
Remember that there is no perfect wedding
After it is all said and done, remember that there is no perfect wedding. No matter how much you plan and confirm every detail, people slip up. I know a wedding that had confirmed the delivery of an ice cream cake the day before the wedding, was left without a dessert for their guests!
