Living a healthier life is the best way to make our later age healthier and less problematic. A balanced diet, regular nutrition intake, and healthy eating can do wonders for your body. And what can be better than adding a juicing regime in our life for a healthier lifestyle?
Fruits and juices contain the major nutrients and enzymes which our body needs. But deciding to follow a juicing regime is one thing, and actually following it is another. Let’s admit: in this busy life, we even don’t have time to cook food then how one can take out several minutes every day for juicing? It can be problematic!
But it doesn’t mean that you should forget your desire to live a healthy life. Though the key to getting the maximum benefits of fresh juice is to drink it as soon as possible. However, if you don’t have time, then you can make the juice and store it for a few days so that you don’t have to miss out on a single day of your juicing regime.
Here are given some tips to store your juice without losing its freshness:
Say ‘Hello’ to Organic:
Many studies have highlighted the benefits of going organic in your diet as organic fruits and vegetables are grown naturally, without using any pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and other artificial triggers. So it is better to bring organic produce in all our diet, but organic fruits and vegetables are essential for juicing due to many reasons.
Firstly, organic produce is rich in nutrition without any tint of harmful chemicals. Secondly, you can use it along with the peel, which is the main source of nutrition. Thirdly, many nutrients escape from your juice when you store it, but rich nutrition value of organic produce will save many nutrients in stored juice.
Choose the Right juicer:
Do you know that your selection of juicer can determine the life of your juice? Most people think juicers are only for juicing, but they have a huge role in the quality of juice.
Centrifugal juicers work at high speed, which produces a lot of heat and friction. It results in oxidation which damages the nutritional value and freshness of the juice, and you can’t store it for a longer time.
On the other hand, Cold press juicers in Australia work at a slow speed, which prevents the oxidation reactions and maintain the freshness and nutritional value of the juice for more than 72 hours.
Store it Up in Right Container:
Most people use water or milk bottles to store the juices, but it is not a good choice. Plastic bottles allow the entry of bacteria and enable oxidation, which affect the freshness of the juice.
Glass containers with tight lid are the best-recommended options to store the juice to retain its freshness and prevent oxidation reaction.
Though you can store your juice by following these tips for some time, but it is better to drink your juice as quickly as you can to fulfill the purpose of following the juicing regime: to charge your nutrition deficiency. Moreover, if you have opened the bottle, then don’t put back the left-overs. It will be harmful!
