Red light is used for anti-aging purposes since it enhances collagen production in the skin. Collagen is the protein responsible for the skin’s elasticity which brings youthfulness.

As you age, your body produces less collagen, making your skin dull and dry. The result is wrinkles form on parts of your face, such as your forehead, crow’s feet, and laugh lines.
